LexusLink app

Hi, has anyone had any success (or lack thereof) with the LexusLink app? Belatedly am trying this, but have come unstuck trying to register the navigation system. I entered the (user unfriendly) serial number string and got an error message several times, finally it said "another device is paired with your car". it's in for a service tomorrow so I'm going to ask the dealer but wondered if anyone had any advice or experience?

I spent ages trying to connect to it only for Lexus UK to advise that the 2019 ES is not compatible with the full connected services on Lexus Link.  Strange, when other 2019 UK Lexus models are.  You need a 2020 ES to get connected services.  I can, with my ‘19 ES get only the basic stuff on Lexus Link such as diary dates for my next service.😕

Hi Habu, thanks for letting me know, I won't bother further with the App in that case. Strange how there is so much inconsistency in the features available or not (let's not mention CarPlay again!!)

There isn't an issue. I had to phone Lexus multi-media support and email.them a.photo of my sat nav serial.number shown on the screen.

The next day they had registered it for.me and.it works. It is,however very rudimentary.

So you've got 'find my car' (not that I need that) and driving analytics, etc?

Peter - Mine is registered and the only thing I can do is see my service history and send destinations to the sat nav. Find my car doesn’t work!

This is all you get with the ‘19 ES.  More connected services came out yesterday with a Lexus Link update but nothing for us although JNK100 says different.  Does he have a ‘20 ES or is getting connected services on his ‘19?
