Lexus IS 200t F Sport - Brake Discs

Recommended Posts

Got a 2015 IS 200t F Sport. I tend to drive it mainly on weekends, so whilst its standing i notice the brake discs become a brown rusty colour. When i drive the car and then park it up the colour disappears, however after a couple of days parked up, they begin to become a brown rusty colour again. Is there a way to keep them looking silver? Hoping someone can assist, thank you

Rust is an unfortunate by product of living in a damp country and the swept surface of a disk is raw steel that will experience surface rust in the blink of an eye.

As already mentioned, it's nothing to fret about.
