Anyone used a CD cleaning disk to clean their RX DVD drive?

I am happy to try it, but only if it's safe.

I assume a cleaning disk WOULD eject once used?

Has anyone tried it?

They don't say anything...

But this morning the DVD - with ignition on or off - would not eject anyway.

So either I am doing something wrong ( I did slide the 'button' ) or it's getting old.

My Sat Nav CD in my old Merc sometimes does not eject as it seems to catch something near the exit slot. Perhaps yours is doing something similar ?

I eject mine by applying slight pressure with a thin item  on the edge of the disk which I see on the edge of the eject slot.
