Those Things On The Back Wheels

[lexus IS 200 Sport]

You know the "drum" thing which is a part of the back wheel (excuse my non jargon desc!!!). They are slightly rusty.......is there a speacial paint or a normal paint you can use to tidy these up????? Ive just done my back calipers bright red, and I want the whole lot to look sweet.........

this might even be a replaceable item from lexus under warranty

depends on the age though

if you do use hammerite make sure it is fully dry before putting your wheels back on

i used the smooth hamerite in a spray version, still looking good nearly a year later

I be going for Black caliper painting on my Granite sky with Chrome stickers or silver ones when I get round to ordering some .

Might be painting the gold bits in the middle of the DBA's black too ..

Silver.... go well with the wheels then.... i used Hammerire smooth paint...

I have had almost new ( 4 weeks old) go rusty.... best tojust paint them IMO

I had mine changed under the warrently rather than paint them. When these go off too (as they probably will!) I may paint them black to match the calipers. If not then silver would look good.

Yep, I used the spray version too, in black.

1 year on and they still look like new. :)

i just used some cheap heat proof aluminuim finish paint on my calipers and rear discs cost a couple of quid for a tin brush on, uesd the extra on my back box too:)
