might insurers give rebates at this time

Recommended Posts

reading in the on line press today that car insurers are experiencing a 75% reduction in claims right now .......  due to these tragic times and less mobility

might we be going to experience the rare sight of insurers giving rebates to those worthy claims free customers I wonder

besides the Admiral ( is it ? ) £25 refund

uberrimae fidei ............  it's a 2way street

A financial organisation looking after customers?????

Actually, my new quote is 3.78% more!

I am going to call them and say as the car will not have moved for 8 weeks, I want a reduction.

There is little appetite amongst the insurance industry to give rebates unless they are trying to attract new customers and as you are an existing customer diddly squawt expectation.

Gave them a ring. Very good service and high level of cover but 33% higher quote.

I've tried them twice in the past without any success.  The last time they said someone would call me back but they didn't so they won't get my business.

My new quote was 25% higher but when I said I'm unlikely to be doing 8k mile during the year it went back to its previous figure.

Adrian Flux never picked up on the thread I started a month or so ago, and I get a bit pi**ed off having to delete their sticky every time I go on here. As not a Gold club member guess I'll just have to put up with it.

Insurance companies are going to make Hay while the Sun Shines on Motor in the current situation to offset claims elsewhere.

I phone Adrian Flux up with 3months of insurance left last month to ask for a reduction in premium, not giving me anything! 😒 Looking elsewhere when it comes to renewal!

Admiral are nice to give £25. Adrian Flux screw u.

I'll try em & a few others, problem for me is I am on the borders of inner & central London so it's always more, although now & this past few weeks London is like a ghost tow, soon enough we will have tumbleweed blowing down the streets  where ars used to go

I know. In southeast London pretty much a ghost town in the first 5 weeks, this week there are a lot more vehicles on the road, especially today. The weather is nicer and also in anticipation of easing lockdown + maybe more businesses are getting people back to work.

I'm moving further up north England soon, had enough of traffic, violent crimes and expensive London.
