Since I bought the 430 its felt so loose on the front end and wanders a bit as more than sure one of the previous must have wound the BK coilovers to rock hard wearing all the standard suspension out, its now running at its waftiness, I thought I'd replace the whole front end with Febi components and tighten it all up again. All done and now re-aligned perfectly on a Hunter... tight as a drum...a few creaks as it settles and after a couple of 100 miles I'll get it re-checked and all tightened. I had to buy new Camber bolts from Lexus at £35 a side (bolt washer and nut) and cut the old ones off....also had a faulty ABS sensor after getting it back together so a breakers supplied a new/used one..... here's the pics.... Well worth the £££

Must be tough getting all the nuts and bolts off!

I replaced the shocks on my 55 GS300 and had a few choice words with all the seized and rusted nuts and bolts!

Wish I have the place ( 2 post lift ) and time to rebuild the suspensions - both front and rear!

The bottom arms and bolts had to be cut off and took nearly 3 hours for both sides as bolts seized inside bushes..... absolute nightmare!!!

  • 2 weeks later...

400 miles in and all good as gold.... re-checked alignment and slightly out after settling, all good now - next up cut out exhaust joints and replace next week as chuffing a bit....

The car has 86k miles now, what sort of value does it have?
