In the right hand side of the boot well of my GS300 (2005), there is a plug on the wiring loom that is not connected to anything but looks like it was part of the wiring loom

Does anyone know what it might be for.

Dvd player, amp, sub connection, dab radio, radar boxes or similar perhaps? Those things like to be tucked into boots for lots of cars... perhaps looms have optional extra connections built in as standard.

So answer is no, sorry 🙄

I do have a satnav - which is in the dashboard panel and works using maps on a DVD in the glovebox.

I was hoping that maybe the plug in the boot may have been related to fitting trailer electrics.
