Does the key turn a little way (which normally triggers the electrical locks) then you need to apply more pressure to physically move the mechanical locks? Not sure on that model if deadlocks can be opened by the outside key or not - varies with model and age. If you did deadlock the doors then that might explain the problem.

If the mechanical key isn't working then really the only option is to get the bonnet open and charge up the Battery so the electrical locks can be operated.

Locksmith with an inflatable bag to bend out the top of the door enough to get something in to hook the bonnet release is probably the best way without breaking something. Otherwise you are smashing the side window or breaking the grille to pop the bonnet.

The bonnet release on the 2006 GS is almost impossible to get at from the top of the window frame as it is a pull type, and under the dash above the accelerator pedal.

However the key should work, but as previously stated with non use the lock mechanism tends to seize "some DW40 may help. Perhaps a reminder for us all to try the key in the door, and the boot. The hybrid GS has the Battery in the boot.

Another option may be to get a Battery charger connected to the Battery connection on the starter motor or alternator and a metal ground from underneath the vehicle.

The petrol models have it in the engine bay - you don't want to run heavy duty copper from the boot all the way to the starter.
