Sc40 sat nav

Hi

i have recently purchased an imported 2001 sc 40 

the instructions for the sat nav are in Japanese - I have tried to find if it’s possible to change to English through you tube and Toyota uk and usa

i was directed to Toyota japan, but this is in Japanese also!

i have seen a member change to a garmini sat nav, which I will attempt if it’s not possible to change the language

the previous owner appears to have change the dvd to Western Europe, but this doesn’t seem to have helped

if someone can clarify what is possible that would be great
