Refuelling

Recommended Posts

I have an IS200 (X Reg), when refuelling at most petrol stations the pump will click off continously, regarless as to whether there is any fuel in the car or not. I have tried several stations now and the common factor has to be the car.

Is this a known fault with the IS200 and if so is there a cure?

I'm another one that pulls it out a bit as well which usually works...

Angle is good too - works upside down too but a bit awkward that and I looked like a nob when I tried it!

P.S. is it me or is this thread one big double entendre?!

:D And I thought it was me! I went to the pumps the other day, only the second time I had filled up, I got £3.50 in the car and gave up, thought it must be the pump and went to another station, got there same problem  messed around with it and tried twisting no joy, so I pulled it all the way out and then just let it rest just in, bingo' ish...
