If you are struggling to see the oil level on the dipstick then purchase some clear silicone tubing (4 mm o/d), cut it to a length 10cm over the dip stick length.

Lay the tubing and dipstick down, with the bottom ends level with each other and with a permanent pen mark low, high and the top of the dipstick on the tubing. Then feed the tubing into the dipstick tube, stopping at the mark for the top of the dipstick, place your finger over the end of the tubing and pull out. The oil should be clearly visible in the tube which indicates the level, then place back over the dipstick tube and release your finger to allow the oil to drain out.

Hi, a simple way is to take out the dipstick, wipe it clean then dip the oil, when you remove the dipstick, very slowly wipe down the dipstick from the top with a piece of kitchen roll and you will immediately tell where the oil level is as the kitchen roll will become wet with oil.
