Hybrid Battery cover extended

Recommended Posts

Just received the following email from Lexus UK

We've extended our hybrid Battery cover, so you can now stay protected for up to 15 years.
Book a Hybrid Health Check and your Battery will be covered for
an extra 12 months or 10,000 miles*  whichever comes first. We'll do this every time your Battery is checked, for up to 15 years. It's complimentary as part of any Lexus service, or £59 if you're between services.
As part of the process, our technicians will perform a detailed assessment of your Battery and you'll receive a report on your system's health status.

Somebody must have rebooted your ISP's mail server and given it a kick up the bum recently because it must be at least 4 months, maybe even 6 months that it was changed from 10 years to 15 years  :wink1:

And I've just received the same email via Lexus Sheffield.

(Maybe this is just to reinforce the value of Lexus hybrids alongside all the TV advertising currently being aired)

(It's also possible that South Yorkshire was out of the loop regarding Mafeking updates?)

In what way do hybrid battery problems become apparent?  Does the car always display a fault condition on the dash when the hybrid battery is experiencing a problem?

yes, when it has got to the stage of being detectable.
