And yet another question !

I've been trying out apple car play with an Iphone 7 connected via usb and found that the volume from siri is very quiet - to point it's barely audible even with the engine off.

Googling reveals this is a common problem and the fixes mentioned turning the volume up while siri is talking  or using BT doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas ?

ok, so I can answer my own question here.

The reason siri was so quiet is because the 'voice' setting was turned down to 1, strangely the volume for the Lexus voice was ok.
