Just waiting at Le Shuttle to board, 2559 miles so far over 10 days and the old girls not missed a beat, didn’t see ANY F’s in any forms......shows just how collectible these fine machines will be, even the MPG isn’t to shabby 👍🏻

We came back via Zaragoza, over the Pyrénées, Pau, Poitiers, tours, Le Mans and Calais, stayed away from Borduex as we got stuck in heavy traffic going down, took 3 hours to get through 😔

I drive to and from UK to Andalucia twice each year and have traveled many routes for the last 15 years.

They are always wonderful journeys.

I did 2200 in 1974 driving my VW Type 3 Fastback to the Black Forest in West Germany, then North along the Border to Wolfsburg, then East along the corridor into East Germany and then into West Berlin and Checkpoint Charlie before returning home beck along the corridor and across West Germany and France to the Hovercraft for UK.

2636.8.....the most I’ve definitely done in the F,.....although last time were there we clocked up a lot more BUT we had both the girls with us and it wasn’t semi-lockdown, nowhere near as busy this year

Wow! Amazing MPG there. I've went to from Northern Ireland to Lithuania with average of 21 mpg and I thought it was brilliant 😂 But then again, I've lit up autobahn in Germany and I was pretty heavy on pedal all the way from there.

Longest pleasure road trip was almost 6,000 miles around Europe and was in a Nissan Maxima QX 3.0 on LPG and if I remember correctly the fuel worked out at the equivalent of about 35mpg.

Drove from our house in Preston, Lancashire, through Belgium and Germany to Czech Republic and on to Poland (those two being our 'main' destinations), on to Lithuania, then back through Poland to Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and Italy, then to France (Limoges, to visit family) and back home.

If I can find the little notebook we used I'll post the places we stayed and mileages.

Last time I did the trip they didn’t reveal your information on speeding offences, unfortunately they do now days 😔.....was within the limits of 120/130 kph and only the odd blast 😉
