Phone address book problem

Recommended Posts

I have my Iphone Bluetooth connecting to the Nav unit, can make calls and receive. When I try to transfer the address book I get to the choose group stage and when I choose a group the Bluetooth cuts off. If I then cancel transfer the Bluetooth re-establishes itself. What am I doing wrong?

Owning an Iphone

Sorry, just couldn't resist. I'm afraid that I don't know the answer to your problem - you've probably guessed that I'm an Android man.

But its true that the problem is an apple thing as the Iphone won't TX the address book via Bluetooth. I along along with others have tried and give up and the only way ( if you got an Iphone ) is to input each contact manually! 😩

Searching this forum you will find that it has been discussed numerous times before

I have an Iphone 6S and it connects perfectly with the car. Wife has the Iphone 6 and hers connects fine too if she uses the car. Full address books are displayed for the connected phone.

I just followed the pairing instructions in the car manual.

Worked like a charm!

I initially had problems with my Iphone 3GS and 4s when I first had our 2011 IS 250. The phone book in the car would randomly erase itself every now and then. However, I had no problems with my Iphone 5s, 6s and X that followed.
