Recommendations for auto insurance provider

Hi all

Wondering if ppl could share recommendation / tips for UK auto cover

Me
early 40s
no claims for 8 yrs (not in UK)
off street parking

Keen to work with a provider that pay claims / doesn't force aftermarket parts

Not the cheapest but imo the best, NFU. We changed to them about fifteen years ago, about a week later SWMBO's new ML320 was rearended. Absoiutley the easiest and most stressless claim ever and I've had about four in about forty years. Five star service.

I can't remember who my actual policy is with but A-Plan will search about 50 insurance companies and come up with the best one for your particular needs. They're very efficient, friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

I would second that. I too used A-Plan brokers for several years and they were very good.
