Keyless entry not opening all doors.

Recommended Posts

The keyless entry on my 2008 ISF has started acting up a bit. I unlock the door from the drivers side and it only unlocks that door. If I go around to the passenger side it still only unlocks the drivers door. Then I press the button on the window controller to unlock all doors and it won't do it. I can hear it clicking and attempting but none of the other doors will open. I have to do it manually.

Any idea what the problem is?

Is it in valet mode?
Has the setup been changed inadvertently, I believe one can customise how the entry system works? Check in your handbook.
I did try changing the modes alright as I wanted it to open all doors when I got out of the car. That was a separate issue I wanted to address long before this keyless entry problem, but I am almost certain that they keyless entry issue occurred just before I made the changes.

Could be Battery related. I'll stick a volt meter on it tonight.

It's not just the keyless entry. The button on the key and the button on the window won't open them either. Manually opening the passenger doors is the only way to get them open.
