Hi!

About to take auto train for the first time. The site advises: 

Deactivate car alarm system before you drop off your car. Failure to do so may result in a dead Battery if your alarm goes off en route.

Anyone ever take the train before and had to disable the alarm? If so, any advise on how to do it? Or should I not even worry about it?

I've done 6 ferry trips, including Hull - Zeebrugge twice and had no problems with normal locking. It seems OK, even in choppy seas
