Removing Speaker Grilles

Anyone know how to remove the rear speaker grilles on the parcel shelf? I've tried levering them off but they feel like they're going to break. Need to remove them to clean out some window cleaner the last owner spilt. Looked in the boot but no obvious fastners in there.

Not sure if I'm correct but I think you may have to remove the rear seats first before you can remove the shelf.

I'm sure someone else will be along to correct me if I am wrong.

you need to take the shelf out as they are screwed in.

You need to remove the back seat which is very simple.....

remove bothj rear C piller covers, then remove the rear shelf
