New to the forum and wanted to say a quick hello to everybody! I have an IS250 SE-L 6 speed manual, yes, manual and I absolutely love it. It has been my reliable steed for the past 6 years even went to France and Spain in it! No issues whatsoever bar the usual maintenance bits.

Lovely looking car, only noticed your new thread as I too have recently joined the Forum with my new purchase ... a 2006 IS250 SE-L ... but the automatic option in blue.

Good to hear about your positive comments on reliability and admiration for the model, this is something I am keenly looking forward to experiencing.

Usual question though, why Lexus and what did you have before?

As all know, I moved from BMW so always curious why people choose Lexus at the end.

Hey fellas, thank you all for your warm welcomes! To answer your question vlady, I had a Honda Prelude before my lexy, it was in a gorgeous red, i had rebuilt the the rear suspension with polybushes, even replaced part of rear wheel arches due to rust before some blind half-wit rear ended me whilst stationary at red light, writing her off.... always fancied a manual v6 or v8 and thats when i found this little gem!
