pc world have a freecom one which is much the same

although the +r speed is 4x

for £99 :)

brought one yesterday pc world technician picked it out for me, told me it was a good one, must admit to not having a clue :blush:

Hi,

The difference in +R and -R is in the material of the reflective layer. Nowadays more and more DVD players and recorders support both +R and -R. If you want maximum compatibility with (older) DVD Video Players, get the -R discs. They are more expensive than +R but should still be below GBP 1.00 a piece if you buy them on a spindle of 100. Get a 4-speed or faster DVD writer if you can, it is worth the extra money (which is very little).
