Brembo brakes

Hi

I have been a member here since 2004, but not been on for many years now. Still got my (rather neglected) IS300, but haven't been driving it much in recent years because I have another car which is more suited to the weather and road conditions where I live.

Have been back and forth thinking about getting something like a GS-F, but have had the IS for 16 years, and can't bear to part with it. So, have decided to get it out of its neglected state and fix the issues. One thing is, the brakes have never been brilliant, so was thinking of putting a brembo brake pack on it. Anyone done this recently and able to give me a rough cost? Did it affect insurance?

Thanks

Amanda

I've never felt that the brakes on mine were that great. Would like to upgrade, don't want anything too incongruous, just a bit more confidence when coming round a bend to find a tractor doing 10mph.
