Blocked washer jet

The passenger one sprays to the top of the window screen but the drivers is a dribble! I've tried using a toothpick to clear and debris in the jet but it's not worked. I can't work out how to remove it so I can see if it's the jet or the hose, any tips?

I've got the MOT on Thursday so need to get it sorted.

Looks like it's the return valve. Are cheap eBay ones ok or go for Lexus/Toyota at 4 times the price?

Also, is the bonnet liner supposed to be foam? If it is, it's not any more. It's so brittle that it was snapping all around the holes and making a right mess!

if you get hold of the jet at the windscreen end it should slide backwards and unclip,

if it doesnt unclip using a small screwdriver (precision type) gently pry

the jet at the back end and the jet will pop out,

get a jug of hot water and using a syringe and a piece of tubing suck the hot water

through the jet and then back through do this a few times and you'll clear the jet

to refit the jet locate the back of the jet (tubing end)

1st and as your pressing backwards press upwards at the same time and it will clip back in.

i do this as a matter of course every 6 months to help keep the spray pattern as it should be.

i hope this helps you
