RX450H front parking sensors gone haywire again

Recommended Posts

Had this problem back in 2015. It was intermittent back then and Lexus couldn’t find any issues when the car went visited the service centre on multiple occasions. The problem seemed to resolve itself since then, until last weekend when at least one of the  front two centre sensors are now constantly on when in drive at low speeds. I have cleaned and dried the sensors and blasted them with an airline but nothing seems to have worked.
I’m guessing the dealerships will be closed from Thursday (our GSF was supposed to being in for a fuel pump issue) so we will just have to put up with it for now. 🙄

Whilst the showrooms will be closed I believe most workshops are still open during the November lockdown for servicing and MOTs etc.  They certainly are ooop North.  Same with Mazda too - showrooms closed but workshops open.

Both front facing sensors have been replaced by Lexus Bristol under warranty, which has resolved the problem. Great service as usual.
