i used some clear cote stuff from my local motorspares store and thats worked pretty well. I think any laquer will do really as long as the paint is dry and you dont put really thick coats on.

thanks guys , one more question does it have to be heat resistant ?

i used Halfords calliper paint and clear laquer was with the car ,the touch up stick thing.just to cover the logo`s.worked well. :)

Paint mine then ...... :winky:

no mate it doesnt, they wont get hot unless you plan on driving like a :tsktsk: ( want to be rally driver) at some stage,, then they might get a bit warm.

I dont have laquer on mine and they have been painted for about 2 years.- and still fine

Judy saiz my decorating has been top notch.....

Mind you it's a rather large surface .....

Just feeling lazy i guess... Hav'nt got the smooth rite yet neither.
