bene looking at intake systems for the 300. i cant decide between two.

This one by Injen

i like the looks of the Injen one, however i think the PLP one wil yeild more gains..

yep i the SRT was my first port of call, Unfortuanlty when i spoke to them they told me there ecu upgrade will not work on the UK spec IS..

Damn.. that's too bad, cos i was goin to say the SRT aswell, that's really popular over the states, end of the day you have to look at what gains you are goin to get between the 2, but the injen looks good, and the pro-lex one look alot more like stock..

too bad we don't get that many choices for the IS200

If you cannot get the SRT then get one of the others and a fuel computer which will achieve the same thing, something like the HKS S-AFR. You will just need to get it set up on a rolling road.

what about a HKS F-Con S, is it worth getting this or the S-AFC.. dont forget ive got the nos, zaust,, and will be looking at headers also so i want to have the engine 'mapped' to make full use of everthing.

I would have thought the AFC would have done. May be worth speaking to TDI about this. Guess it depends on budget.

These things will also be helpful in order to optimize your performance.

However, the more stuff like NOS,... you put in there, the more complicated the settings will be.

PLP: looks like it shields better from hot engine air than the Injen.
