A long story cut short. A misdiagnosed rattle resulted in me buying a replacement steering rack for my Lexus LS 460 SE 2007. This cost me £750. If anyone requires this item please contact me. As its no use to me, any reasonable offer will be accepted.

Hi Malc

Dont get me started on the main dealer. Suffice to say I will never buy another Lexus as they have been worse than useless. A complaint to Lexus UK was a complete waste of time as well. As you may have gathered Im not happy! My mark 1 LS 400 which I had for 17 years was a much better car than the 460. Wish Id kept it now.

yes, I've been driving Ls400s constantly for 20 years now, a MK1, 2 and now my Mk3 for 9.5 years ..............  nothing to beat 'em for reliability and comfort etc

go buy yourself another Ls400 maybe !
