Serviced By Toyota?

hi people,

This is my first time post. I'm a hopeful lexus owner located in Mauritius (tiny island located in the Indian Ocean). We don't have lexus dealers here so the only way I can get me one of those dream machines is importing one from another country. Anyway, one of the car importers here told me he was bringing in an IS200 in a few days... I actually test drove one a month ago and absolutely loved it, but unfortunately it had already been reserved by another customer %@#! The next one coming in has got to be mine for sure! What I'm worried about is getting the car serviced here. Like I said, there are no Lexus dealers here so my best bet would be to have the car serviced by Toyota. My question is: will Toyota be able to service a Lexus just as well?

Of cause they will, but I think they don't have much experience in maintaining a lexus. Ask the dealer if his mechaniacs are educated for Lexus.
