Do Not Sell My Personal Information Jump to content

Hi all

I'm selling my is250 but want to do a few jobs first to ensure it's presented in the best possible light.  One of my issues is a 4 inch crack in the vinyl above the radio.  Has anyone had a similar problem and successfully filled/repaired it?  There are various vinyl repair kits on the market but as usual with very mixed reviews.

Regards to all.

It kind of highlights the potential issue rather than masks it. I guess it is ok to use for yourself if you want to protect the dash, but I would imagine any buyer would be immanently put-off after seeing it, even if there is nothing wrong with the dash.

Many thanks to leelacey17 for the Kraftex tip.  The 2 cracks can be seen in the first pic below and the repair in the second pic.  The IPA dried out the vinyl but a bit of post repair care tomorrow should make it look good again.
