Brechin Slate 163
Hi all I'm selling my is250 but want to do a few jobs first to ensure it's presented in the best possible light. One of my issues is a 4 inch crack in the vinyl above the radio. Has anyone had a similar problem and successfully filled/repaired it? There are various vinyl repair kits on the market but as usual with very mixed reviews. Regards to all.
markeyszoo 36
Have you considered a dash mat/ carpet at as seen on eBay for £12 ish
leelacey17 104
I repaired marks / holes around the centre vents in mine before I sold it. I used one of those kits off of amazon. Takes a while to do but it takes your eye off it. Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk

Brechin Slate 163
Thanks for the quick replies. I like the mat idea as it's no work and a good result, I'll check the sizes tomorrow. If it doesn't cover the crack on the contours I'll go down the kraftex route.👍

I guess it is ok to use for yourself if you want to protect the dash, but I would imagine any buyer would be immanently put-off after seeing it, even if there is nothing wrong with the dash. Brechin Slate 163
Many thanks to leelacey17 for the Kraftex tip. The 2 cracks can be seen in the first pic below and the repair in the second pic. The IPA dried out the vinyl but a bit of post repair care tomorrow should make it look good again.
