Rear door question

The rear door windscreen ive only just noticed a vertical element (if that's what it is) you have the horizontal heating elements well ive just noticed a vertical one smack bang in the middle. Cant say ive noticed this before on any other car ive previously owned. Anyone know what it is or is it just another heating element to supplement the horizontal ones.

Hello Alaw and all fellow UX UX owners. 

I have this vertical line on my UX and assume it is part of the window heating system. This will be confirmed the next time you de ice the window.

Thanks Adrian i more or less guessed that would be the case, i cant remember seeing one on other vehicles I've had. Strange especially when you have the horizontal element's as well.
