Hi m8. Look on eBay. You'll need a shallow 12v cigarette charger adapter. A 90° USB male to female adapter. Then a Bluetooth adapter. I'll try and put links on your thread but if you look in search on here you should find a thread where the links are there. Reason for the shallow 12v adapter is because rhe best and stealth location for the Bluetooth adapter is in the armrest cubby hole. When the lid is down a normal 12v adapter would foul the lid. Cost will be about £12.

These are what I use in my is250 with ML and it works very very well and I thoroughly recommend these items.

have a look on the thread below as a few options were discussed. I went with the cheaper option at the beginning with the aux adapter in the armrest but wasn't happy with the sound quality and then upgraded to the adapter that plugs in at the back of the radio and shows as an extra CD magazine for £35 - so not crazy expensive. Only downside to the latter option is that you need to take out the whole satnav/radio and you may end up damaging the dash if you're not careful.

I've received & tried the components for the cheap option, it works but I'm not happy with the sound quality & mainly it keeps on disconnecting whenever I remove the phone link requiring me to re pair every time whic is apain.

so the search goes on

I use one of these

https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Golvery-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Streaming/dp/B01NACN8PY/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Golvery+Audio+Jack+Bluetooth+Transmitter&qid=1610407618&sr=8-3

Had it fitted since 2019 and has been fine. I don't use it for calls though, I only use it for listening to Absolute 80s on Tunein.

I don't touch it at all, it sits ignored in the arm cubby hole connected to the Aux In and a double USB socket for power. My phone connects as soon as I start the car.
No problems with it dopping out at all. Sound is perfect for a someone like me who listens to 80s music on the wireless whilst driving.

You say you've tried the cheap components. Are they the ones I suggested and posted links for? If so I'm very surprised as mine work perfectly and the sound is superb. But where sound is concerned it depends on what your listening to. For example if I listen to Planet Rock the sound is very good. However if I listen to Radio 1 drum and bass show the sound is outstanding. Yes I have ML.
