Hi had my car now for a good 6 months and love it.

Can I ask when do you put it into sports mode.Been doing a bit of duel carriageway and motorway driving recently and heard for those type of drives it should be in sports mode,is this correct?

Glad you are enjoying your car.

I tend to use Sport Mode when I need to zip away more quickly (junction etc) and occasionally when overtaking for a bit of extra oomph. I quite like the feel of how it tightens up the steering too but its nice to flick between Sports and Normal to appreciate their differences. I rarely use Eco as I find it unsafe if anything (being so unresponsive).

Hi Jon

there is no right or wrong time for using sport mode

some owners will have it in Sport mode all the time

some wont use it to help conserve fuel

others will flick it into Sport when then need to make progress

the choice is yours

the main thing is to enjoy your car

I've used Sport mode a few times. I like the way the dash changes and goes red, and the acceleration is slightly quicker. Apart from that, it doesn't make it into a sports car.

in the overhead console there are 2 white lights

the holes they are in are about 4mm in diameter

so they can be missed i think they light the

centre console around the usb ports

these also change to red when in sport mode

I use sports mode when overtaking (cyclist, tractors, etc.) on single carriageways. I find the better throttle response really helps. Other than that, normal mode is sufficient for me.

I like the added response when in sports mode dependent on how the driving conditions are.

The addition of the Rev counter appearing and replacing the power mode clock is a nice touch, plus the Red dash light'

If you just want the Rev counter you can turn that on in the menu so it appears in normal mode.
I’ve got used to driving about in eco most of the time and just switch straight to sport when wanting a quicker blast such as for overtaking. Eco isn’t really any slower, it just takes more throttle application, something quite handy in the snow round these parts and it makes for smoother inputs.
