Fitted them yesterday. Seem well made and the bonnet now raises itself once you lift it halfway. Below that it drops slowly enough that I now have to push down on the bonnet for it to latch. Getting the balls out of the OEM (Tokico) struts was a bit of a ball ache (😆) but I prevailed thanks to your advice and a Dremel with a cutting disk. Time will tell how long they last (3 year warranty) but at £16 delivered I don't mind replacing them every 3 years.
