Tyre pressure light when freezing outside

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I got my new UX F sport in October last year, the last few times I’ve driven it when the conditions outside are freezing my tyre pressure light has come on. It goes off later on once it’s warmed up outside. Is this normal? Haven’t had this issue with any other of my Lexus.

Maybe you have one tyre pressure right on the lower limit which is then being reported to the controller . Check your pressures are in the middle of the range they should be

I’ll check my pressure again tomorrow,

It is important that you check, and set the tyre pressures while they are cold, and  not when the car has been driven a distance to warm them up.

Never had the light come on however when ive looked at the reading on the TPMS on start up ive noticed one wheel may be giving a different reading. Then when looking again they all read the same. Temparature differentials will come into play.
