Ah that should be relatively easy then as i think stock internals can handle that or thereabouts. You will also be able to keep the existing intake mani as the kits available will cater for that. I would go with 1 of the turbo kits available for this kind of build and it should do the trick perfectly.

Any kits in mind? I only know of the cowboy job ones from eBay 😄

Speak to whifbitz about your application/ideas, they will help guide you. There is so many differnet options to pick from depending on what you want. They have done loads of na-t Supras and know there stuff.

Seems like a good kit. No Chinese turbo crap. I'll contact them closer to to time. First thing is BC coilovers, then wheels & tyres, brakes, HKS exhaust, and maybe even a manual swap before turbo. But I'm not sure what trans to go with. Between a J160, CD009, R154... but the R154s are getting ridiculous in price now.

Is it manual yet? Thinking of converting mine

Not yet.

So far I have the J160 gearbox, bellhousing adaptor, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch hose, clutch pedal and brake pedal.

Just need the flywheel, clutch and the front section of the manual IS200 driveshaft.

Almost there.

What car does a j160 gearbox come from and what bell housing adapter gets used?

I'm going to gather everything up incase I decided to change mine, I kinda like it auto tho I didn't expect the auto to grow on me.

Parts are getting rapidly harder to find and more expensive so I'd like to source everything now even if I don't convert it I can always sell them on down the line.
