Is200 Buyers Guide

I bought a copy of "Used Car Buyer " today ,and in there is a 6 page buyers guide for the IS200, its a good balanced and fair article and makes intresting reading weather you know about our cars or not.

Its the April issue of the mag ,and it has a Red Ford Ka on the front cover, so keep an eye out for it at your newsagent.

Going by the article, the IS200 has had only one recall ,and that was for the drivers floor mat getting stuck under the accelerator pedal.

And the only negative is they suggest NOT buying an import (Altezza ) as you don't get service history with them .

The club gets a mention ,but why are we called www.teamlexus.co.uk ?.

Totally untrue..... another scare monger tactic, you don`t always get service history OVER HERE, so its the same over there, most of the cars i have purchased have service history with them..

Good there is another good article about the is200....Even better the club gets a mention though...

I think the main problem is you cannot read the service history and cannot easily check it is true. However a quick phone call to a Lexus dealer will confirm if the stamps are genuine for a UK car.
