Hi every one ,iv finally got my rx300 after many weeks finding the right one, now my question is is there Bluetooth feature in car ? ....

Hi Simon. I'm not sure if your RX300 had Bluetooth. On your steering wheel are there 2 buttons both depicting a telephone with receiver up on one and down on the other. Does your car have satnav?

I'm not sure if it's across all variants but my 2005 RX300 SE NAV had Bluetooth but only for telephone, not as a music player.

I believe Bluetooth is only available on the RX300 from 2005 (when the 400h launched) if you have the sat nav option. As Herbie states, it is only for telephony, not music streaming.

My older RX300 does not, though I do have a plug-in Bluetooth device.

Hi Piers. I'm wondering out of interest how you have a plug in Bluetooth device. Am I right to say your older RX300 doesn't have satnav either? Have you considered replacing the head unit in your car for an android unit which I know there are a few available.

Hello,

Mine does have SatNav and the reversing camera ( though the SatNav DVD player has now died. The screen still works and the camera also - 99.5% of the time. )

The Bluetooth device just plugs into the cigarette lighter - so very cheap and surprisingly cheerful!

( I did once think about replacing the unit, but I'm not sure it's that cost effective now? )
