F Sport Quality Ride?

Recommended Posts

Its a bit rough in town, smoothens out on the motorway considerably. To other SUV's, depends on what youre comparing it to. Its less offensive in terms of ride quality compared to the German "sporty" SUVs of the same era

Ok. I suppose thats the price of the improved handling. I wonder how the other models compare. E.g. the Advance on its 18” wheels.
There are a number of low mileage F Sports examples around. I wonder whether people were seduced by the marketing but could not handle the ride?

Prior to my F Sport we had a Merc S500, bells & whistles, air suspension and more oomph that Bridgitte Bardot when she was 25.

Our F Sport certainly has firmer handling than air suspension, as Rayaan said - noticable at slower speeds, but I have to say I prefer it by far, and the passengers don't get 'seasick' either!

I have standard Series 3 RX450h Luxury trim. Ride is nowhere near as comfortable and refined as in MK2 GS300 MK3 GS450h and LS430 I used to own but the seats are out of this world so this kind of compensates. It was one of the reasons I went for Luxury trim vs F-Sport as F-Sport wasn't typical Lexus ride I got used to (well Luxury isn't either but it's better). As soon as the lockdown finishes I'm going to post my review of RX450h  (like I did with 3GS450h 4GS300h and 2GS300)
