madasahatter 192
Got my eye on a car in London. Dealer wants to transport the car without me seeing. I understand the near 170 mile journey one way, is not a necessity. I would like to physically see the car really. Any thoughts paying nearly £9000 without seeing. IanA2 63
Get him to agree to return transport if you don't like it. I've bought a few cars like this. Never had a problem.

One was a recent transaction. Seems to me if you get a written agreement to return the car at dealer's expense you should not have any problems. Perhaps I should add that all my dealings were with main dealers if that makes a difference.
