PCV VALVE REPLACEMENT/throttle bottle clean on IS250

Looking at items to service change and a lot of boys with BMW’s change the PCV Valve  on high mileage cars anyone done this? Also throttle body is another that may require a clean?

Hi Mat. Yes there's a few videos on YouTube on how to change the PCV valve. Looks easy but you need a 19mm I think spanner with a 90 degree bend in it. I tried to do mine but the hose to it seemed stuck to it so I've left it for now. As for throttle body I totally recommend it and the MAF sensor too. I posted a thread on it so maybe look it up.

I changed mine last year.

Your safest bet is to get it from a dealer - the part number for mine was 12204-31040.

I imagine yours would use the same part number.

It was not expensive and you are assured that you are getting the correct part.

My supplier called Gear Max in Glasgow. I'm not converse with delivery charges to Ireland or anywhere else for that matter but from Glasgow to Ireland I can't believe there are high postage charges. Mine cost under £15.
