squeaky drivers seat

Morning all 

Having driven my nx300h now for 3 weeks I've noticed a sqeak from the drivers seat, the left hand side of seat is always touching the right hand side of front centre armrest whereas the passenger side does have a gap in between this causes both leather materials to meet and sqeak. I have called lexus and they will take a look but also say they haven't experienced this before, just wondered if any of you have and if your seat leather touches your front armrest ? the sqeak really is annoying and spoils the ride !

@MR DSBGurdeep, my 2018 NX has a clear gap on both the driver and passenger side - see photo. Probably at least a third of an inch either side.

that's the way it should be , its how my passenger seat is, but drivers is fully touching, tried to attach photo but kept showing me an error 200, thanks for the picture, I'll see what lexus say when it goes in on Friday, but if anyone else has got opinions or photos that would be great if lexus kick up a fuss and say mine is how is should be

^^Probably a silly question, but how old is the car and how many miles? Does the bolster on the right side of the drivers seat look as if it’s out of shape? If the seat is secure on the runners I can’t really see how it could be touching unless that bolster is - to use a technical term - knackered!

It seems to be 13 years old and had any number of large/heavy drivers. Wear and tear, as the excuse goes, me thinks.

Not sure it should be touching so get it checked if in warranty,

I suspect in the short term a bit of silicone spray should quieten the squeak down
