LC500 User Guide - Are they serious?

Recommended Posts

I wonder if anyone spotted these two sections in the user guide. I reckon that if the road opens up and swallows my car I won't need the tilt sensor to inform me. Also, why would anyone ever take a nap in an LC500?! 🤣 Although, it could be that Lexus know their target demographic very well. 👨‍🦳

Why not?

Are the seats not comfortable?

Have been sleeping in in MB SEL, Nissan 300ZX even in a Toyota MR2 Spyder.

Sometimes all hotels you find on the way are full.

Yes, and that is a fine place to relax (and listen to music?).

Still cars like that are excellent for long distance travelling and if you do not know how traffic situation is and therefore not have booked a hotel room it is not always possible to get to a place to sleep before you get tired.

Japan is a very volcanic country. I imagine the seismic warning is just a translation of the original text.

Co-incidentally. the alarm on our NX just randomly went off outside the house this afternoon for the first time. I took a look and couldn't find any issues so it must have been a tremor. 😄

In Dutch it is called an auto-alarm. Some have to live up to their name.

A couple of days ago we had a recurrence of the alarm going off with apparently no cause.

I did a thorough check over the car (windows, doors closed properly etc) and finally found a ladybird inside the car. It was at the top of the windscreen and may have sauntered across the interior ultrasonic sensor. I put it carefully outside.

We shall see if this stops the alarm warnings.
