Android 10 MultiMedia Player Touch?

I've got a 2013 Lexus IS300h and I was thinking of upgrading the infotainment system with this from eBay

Anyone try to buy this or know of someone that upgraded theirs?

I bought one of these last year.........

in one sentence don’t waste your money.

it’s not android 10, it’s a clone of android 7 that can’t be updated. Many of the apps in the play store cannot be loaded because the OS is too old.

the tech support is terrible and the fitting instructions are a joke, you are seriously on your own as they provide no realistic help. That may be due to the language barrier.

if your using iOS and apple CarPlay then you will find it will never connect smoothly and without some kind of intervention. I’ve used an XR and 12pro and none of them connect automatically.

The reverse camera is distorted as it stretches the picture over a greater area.

the touch screen is a nice idea but the screen is too far away from you when you’re sat down driving so you have to stretch to touch it

 

all in all, great concept poorly executed
