Hi all,

I have recently noticed this slight knocking noise on my GS300. It tends to appear when turning the wheel and pulling off from the spot. Strangely enough it doesn’t make any noise when driving at speed. Yesterday, I moved some furniture to another house and it appeared that the weight intensified the noise more. Any suggestions? (There are some squeaks with the seat in the video but the main noise is the knock/clunk when turning wheel and accelerating)

Literally any wear in any suspension component could be the cause, front end causes could be worn track rod ends, lower ball joints, upper control arm bushes or ball joint. Sticking brake callipers can also produce strange knocks but these generally disappear if the brakes are held on gently.

Suspension top mounts or broken spring.

Anything mentioned in the last MOT?

You really need to get the car in the air and have a good probe with a breaker bar to find the culprit.
