I had a Nextbase front and rear dashcam dealer fitted to my 2021 ES on purchase in March. I had been concerned about DAB reception. Well, within one mile out from the dealer, no reception! I had no problems on previous 19 plate. Device removed by dealer. Now no problems. Be warned.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is this just a Nextbase problem or do other dashcams cause this?

Usually it's just that the power cable for the camera is running close to the aerial lead and most often can be easily sorted by using a cylindrical ferrite bead at one or both ends of the camera cable like in the photo below.

I don't know what this one was used for but normally just one or two turns is enough - using more can even make the problem worse.
