Hello Everyone,

Getting towards the Mot date again and I have a Blow from the Y Piece. Does anyone Know of anywhere in the London area that does Exhaust systems?

Only places . on the web  that supply parts seem to be on the USA.

Still rumbling on, Did 500 mile round trip to Salford and back a few weeks ago in one day.

Easy cruising apart from some Arse clenching moments on some of these " Smart " Motorways.

Luckily stamping my foot to the floor summoned up the Angry Lexus God,and I was able to get out of trouble!

Hi

I had same: Lexus Parts Direct (Fish Brothers) https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/trade-homepage/

will sell a discounted Y section genuine part. Then you need to get it fitted. My ATS were prepared to do this but I opted another route.

or...

Call Grove Garage 01273508606 they are in Brighton - they can fabricate or repair the y section and fit: they did mine and many other forum members too. Ex Lexus and are very reasonable price wise.

For sure use a exhaust specialist who can fabricate what is needed.

I used Infinity Exhausts (just 1km from J18 of M4), did the job in two hours, and cheaper than having the LS part and fitted.  I guess depends on where in Greater London you live as to whether Brighton or Bath is a easier drive.

I would say this place is in the middle of nowhere with naff all public transport, so take a good book to plough through

I got a number of small pinholes in the Y-part of my 1998 LS400 exhaust. Fixed them by taking off the Stainless heat shield and patched over holes with thin stainless steel wrap sheet metal  and some seal paste and a number of stainless steel hose clamps . That was three year ago . stil works fine. I did this when the car was new to me. If it happened now I would probably have bought a new after market  Y-pipe from US.
