Lexus ISF

Late 2008 (EY58LPC) – Private plate has been removed.

89k miles

3 previous owners

Full service history, mix of Lexus and specialist

It had the water pump done under warranty early on in its life, it was checked when the radiator was done and still spot on.

The car was bought from a local specialist and a friend of a friend. I’d always wanted one of these and only ever seen 1 other in person. I went for a look over to see if I could justify one in the future and couldn’t not buy it!

It’s a really good example, previous owner had it 5 years and bought from the same specialist. I’ve since spoken to him and he’s got fond memories of the car and noted it was bombproof in those 5 years!

It has a couple of stonechips on the front as expected but very little. One of the rear wheels had a minor kurbing but touched up too.

Now being a 5.0 V8 you’d expect it to be terrible on fuel, it’s really not that bad. Typically 230-250 miles out of a £60 tank of fuel, 300+ on a run (it’ll average 30+mpg on a run!)

Work done in the last 10 months:

Front disks and pads – March 2021

Radiator/ transcooler, coolant change – September 2020

Oil/ oil filter/ air filter service - October 2020

Its a standard car other than intake pipe and the Hayward and Scott exhaust and a Bluetooth device in the centre compartment for Bluetooth music streaming.

It's has Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, fronts have bags of tread, the rears are getting down to around 3mm. Happy to get 2 new tyres of the same spec for full asking price.

It's also got a Lexus supplied and fitted dash cam to the front.

I'm looking for around £16,000 for a quick and painless sale.

Please no time wasters. No more than 2 people to turn up for a viewing, ill not answer the door, sorry if that sounds blunt.

Extra pictures added of service history, 12 stamps, as it should do and also the bill as proof of its big 60k miles service being done. I checked through the history and the waterpump was done at around 20k miles and 2ish years old, noted as 'Water pump leaking, WTY' on the Lexus service checklist, i assume the WTY means warranty.

Price is £15,750ono on AT, PH and eBay etc. now, happy to discuss SENSIBLE offers as it could do with going in the next couple of weeks. For how good an example this is and with all the right maintenance/ work carried out its as good a buy as a pre-facelift at this money is ever going to be.

Also people that have been interested but are a distance away have requested videos (I assume because you can hide things in pictures) so I've taken a few quick ones, outside, inside and engine bay. If you are genuinely interested then please message me your WhatsApp and I can fire over.

Well, to close the thread out, the car sold yesterday. First person to view it and the car sold itself really. No faults to be picked other than a short MOT and a lack of tread on the rear tyres, which id made clear in the add.

It really did attract so many timewasters, which i thought i would avoid with it being such a niche car. The lad that bought it was much like myself, knew it appeared a good one from the add, came to view and it was a good one so bought it, no messing!

If anyone is considering one of these in the future i'd highly recommend it! Its a showcase into big v8 saloon ownership that doesnt have to be ruinous! I'll be back into my hatches for a little while now i'd have thought but if the hankering for a saloon comes back in the future then i think ill be on the hunt for a GSF!
