New member/Lexus owner

Hi all,

Just a quick 'hello' from another new member.  Recently purchased my first Lexus (I've owned over one hundred cars!) an ES300h Takumi.  Not driven much at present but impressed with all it offers.  On the drive home from dealers which was approx. 10 miles city, 45 miles motorway and 16 miles A road (40 - 60mph limits) I averaged 54.4 mpg on the fuel computer.  Happy with that!  I was driving fairly light footed but did also do a few overtakes to check the uplift of speed which, although not ballistic is definitely 'adequate' and better than most amateur reviewers put across in their reports.  The smooth and mellow drive more than makes up for flat out power which really is not what the ES is about😉
