My first mod on the first day of owning Lexus was full LED interior, mirrors lights and Lexus logo door projectors 😂
Here is front bumper with no plate bracket

What you used to mount the plate? Screws into the bumper or?

Just screws into the bumper. In the future I will fix all holes (there are like 8-10 holes under the plate) and use magnets to hold the plate

So Well here's a update and thanks to LenT for a good tip of a advice since I'm a newbie in car stuff but I'm passionate enough.

I've put put Loctite antisieze copper on the tire stems hopefully they will not rust. 🤞

Changed the emblem in the front lost one of the nut springs it yeeted itself into the bottom tray of the car  XD since it's hybrid everything is covered on the bottom 🧐 I tried a magnet and stuff nothing it's probably gone about now. Still waiting for L thinking to buy it on eBay or go to a salvage yard and pry one off a RX350? or something.

Here are some pics of todays agony changing the can bus lights in the interior also broke the trunk dome light clip. 🤔🤧

Got my steering wheel cover but not sure if I'm up to the task to sew it myself. 🥴

I believe it's a pain as you need to remove the interior boot lid cover, remove both lights, then you can unscrew and unclip the trim that covers the across where the light/release button/camera. Then the light itself just unclips by levering one end and pushing in the clip.

So I've noticed my ML subwoofer grille is popping out and I can't seem to get it back to place and I tried to pop it back but it doesn't so I was thinking to do the upgrade like on US forum a guy did with non ML grilles here's pictures from the US forum. I'm not sure what would be the best glue for the mesh grille anyone has a suggestion?center_d_f8d582aec14ddd84a680670c888df4e547008b6f.thumb.jpg.0054009e9316d231d5aab8864ab9af89.jpgcenter_c_ece131b262f50c15634e008d8e3cce789e57e58e.thumb.jpg.921734a47a85a468c46e7b84c46cb8f6.jpgcenter_b_12b7c83f65ea45760d1921a025ced26c5ffb2d0f.thumb.jpg.878aec18e5d4ed9418cef6fe8f39f4bf.jpg

Little update! I finally got all the parts for the badge just waiting for the little spring nut now 😄

Here are some pictures I painted the stock chrome L with primer 3 coats or 4 I think and 4-5 coats of Black gloss enamel and then put 3-4 coats of clear coat.

I first time painted anything with spray-paints so Idk I read the instructions and decided to go a bit above the recommended amount just to be sure in the end the paint turned out to but like vinyl when I took it off the yellow sticky paper the inverted painted surface was like vinyl overall I'm happy with the result but not sure if I will be up to the task to paint the chrome grille. Got my little cup holder inserts from Ali Express they didn't fit directly in the cup holder slot so I did next best thing trimmed it down and glued onto of the OEM ones easy to pull out and clean. Also changed the light bulbs to LED in the mirror puddle lights had to dismantle half of the mirror was hard but managed to do it in first try didn't break anything this time 🥴🥴 removed the pesky bulky plate bracket and removed rear bracket screws and put the M6 bolts and sticky tape to hold it in place.

So recently I got a good deal but I'm not sure guy is selling Works LS406 Mono's with brand new Nankang tires they are square 8.5J ET38 or something like that 225 45R I used photoshop to put them on my car and honestly for the price he offering they don't look that bad. Just not sure should I leave them chrome or make them black 😄 or just keep Stockies and refurbish them instead?

Here's a picture of the Works They are chrome 18'

And this is how I wanted to make my stockies.

So Someone bought the Works I wanted but I decided to go all out and order JR28's in Hyper black

I only need to figure out what offset I want to get and what width. Anyone has any ideas.

Like I know that my stock is like 40-42 but it doesn't poke out it's like receded in the arches and I need to figure out what offset will look just right anyone has any expertise?

So threw on the JR28's in Hyper black on my car and honestly I think they look fire.

Now I'm thinking to get 5x114.3PCD  8.5J 18's ET40 front and 9.5J 18's ET35 back you guys think they would fit?

Anyone runs similar offset?

I run 19” 8.5” ET34 front and 9.5” ET35 rear and it’s okay but I have coilovers set about -65mm so got negative cambers on both axles. My front wheels are a bit hidden in arch, rear ones have not much space like 4mm to rear bumper top mount.

Idk 🤷‍♂️ if this spec will fit if you are not going to lower your suspension

Best option you can find someone with similar offsets and try to fit wheels yourself.

What tires are you going for?

For 9.5J I would go 255 which is a bit stretched, same as 225 on 8.5J

Exactly those sizes I want to get 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 and I am planing to lower it slightly maybe on springs until I save for coils like RSR downs or something. I need to check the original offset on the stock 5 spoke sports wheel. Maybe someone has one laying around? 🤣 So I don't have to take my wheel off

So it's done boys I've ordered a Set of JR28's in Hyper black 18' 8.5J fronts and 9.5J backs ET40 and got the tires today with wheel nuts.

Waiting for the wheels so I can post pictures 😄 I did contact the Japan Racing Wheels asked them what's the best offset they recommend for the IS300h they told me 35 would not fit 9.5J in the back they suggested to get ET40 all around which I did I was considering ET35 but since I'm making them custom PCD and Custom offset cause they don't have 5X114.3 in ET40 9.5 I had to go with what JR's suggested just to be safe ordered them from JDMdistro.

Got the wheels fitted today really excited! They look awesome the Toyo Tires Proxes Sports feel way more stable and smooth to drive then the Goodyears Asymetrics. And yes I know the wheel gap is masive i'm working on it haha Thinking of getting Coils or springs what you guys run?

IMO NIA style looks much better than Maxton 🙂

Next up I think I might get GS350 Calipers Advics ones and LS460H rear or I will try to safe up for ISF calipers But I don't see the point in Brembos on the 300h as it's not really performance tunable 😄 So probably going to get Advics 4 piston ones. As Advics Directly bolts on the IS brake mount just need bigger rottors + Mike V8 had a realy nice video how to restore them 😄 and they don't cost a arm and a leg.

The IS-F brakes won't clear all designs of 18" rims so be careful if you do consider this. As you say, from a performance point of view they would be overkill, but so are the stock brakes 😉

Yeah ISF's GSF's are wayy to expensive for this car but Advics Calipers look nice have abit more stopping power less service like Compared to stocks. Also I have done my research when I bought the wheels and they are not agresive offset they are ET40 8.5 so It should be fine if anything I can get a 10mm spacer.

And they look candy. I want to make mine in Racing yellow like that. It will be more then enought for a 300H

My IS200t stock brakes are 4 pot Advics + drilled/slotted 334mm discs + EBC YellowStuff pads and this kit is more than enough even with performance RaceChip on 🙂 IS300h is a bit heavier but still no point in overpaying for Brembos

I'd vote (funnily enough) for the 450h/430 4-pot Advics calipers. I found them to be really well designed and easy to rtefurb (because aluminium) and have been genuinely surprised at the stopping power, once refurbed of course 😉

Plus the refurb kits for them weren't daft money from Lexus, whereas I suspect ISF rebuild kits will be... a bit more!
