Glad you like it, I have to say it is a car that grows on you even more after a few months ownership. I suppose it's a combination of being well put together and an enormous engine that just loves to be revved. I have over-revved mine quite a few times when I'm caught up in the moment. Thinking about that perhaps I shouldn't say that on a public forum as any potential owner will think I've thrashed it.

How can you over-rev an RCF? 🤔

That’s what I assumed…

I would assume he means when your manually driving in first or second and let it redline till it force changes and gives you that absolutely stunning noise

Yes sorry my error, I meant hitting the rev limiter as I drive mine mostly in manual mode.

On my Porsche it actually recorded when you did it so the main dealer could note what you had done. Obviously the car was a manual and had a range from 1 to 6, 6 common when selecting the wrong gear going down the box.

I find that rather invasive I'm not sure why.

Do Porsche ever mention it 😂?

Not sure it is common knowledge but amongst owners it is known. It is handy if you are buying something you suspect has been used extensively on track, or a careless, thoughtless owner. I was also informed that it was used to void certain large warranty claims which makes sense. But as an owner you always had it in the back of your mind that what you did was on record albeit errors or plain thrashing your car.
